Anybody installed hhb 1" fork lowering kit?

Im installing hughs 1"fork lowering kit and am wondering about the spacer on the dampening rod. I printed his how to off his web site(i emailed hugh about the question also)but his how to shows a 2" lowering spacer. My question is when I put my spacer on and line up the holes for the valving the spacer does not go to the bottom of the dampening rod its about 3/8ths of an inch up. the picture in the how to show the spacer all the way to the bottom when the valving hole aline. any help would be great.

I asked Hugh the same question. His answer was just go ahead and install as shown. With the one inch spacer the holes do not come into play.

thanks royboy, so all the way down it is. hugh might want to up date his site for these 1"spacers then.
