assistance needed

hi has anyone got any photos of a 73 tx650 tank without the badges on,ive just took my tank to bare steel and need to see were the mounting screws go for the badges,as the tank had loads of filler and what looks like some form of resin on it,any help appreciated as im hoping toget it powder coated like my side panels cheers chazz

72 but I think it's the same tank.

Looks like the badges were inset, and somebody filled the space with bondo.

73 Tank was different to the 72. It was a stand alone model/year Tank, the badges were more like the later Special type and weren't recessed like the 72 tank pitcher.
Bout the best pic i have of the tank that shows a badge. Look at the 72 Tank and just think of it without the oval recess and that is what your badge would have mounted like
