I worked for a VW dealership (Audi is 99% owned by VW) and the corner cutting/poor workmanship were very evident and astounding. German engineering and workmanship, my ass. I have never been so disappointed in a brand of vehicle in my life.
I hope this does not spell the end for Ducati; they have done a very good job of building some of the best superbikes on the planet. I'd hate to see them go down the tubes by losing customers because they were building crap mandated by Piech who would be trying to squeeze a few more euros out of them.
