Authentic Wassel?

So I picked up a tank off of a guy on Craigslist who listed it as a Wassel, I paid $90 for it and I'm pretty sure it's the real deal. If so then I think I got a pretty good deal bc I see these guys going for $200-$300 on E-bay.

I already ordered a new filler neck to replace the fugly one there currently.

Also, are these the original mounting tabs? I wanna say they aren't but I really dont know.

Lemme know what you guys think.

Thats a real one, but those tabs are not original. They were often sold without tabs on them, so the owner/builder usually installed those themselves...

Thats about the right price for an original with soo many dents in it... LowBrow now has Repops for a fair price, I'll use them from now on, though I do have an original hanging in the shop just for cool factor

Yep, my original intention was to use the lowbrow repop, but then I saw a chance to grab a real wassel for half the price and I had to jump on it, cool factor definitely was an influence.
