Bike idles great but when I give it throttle it dies spark is intermeadeant. Drove it about ten miles pulled over to get gas and never ran the same any ideas?

Don't know if you have one problem or two, but check the state of charge of your battery first and your charging output.
Your pilot jets could also be plugging up.

Full and brand new battery it's charging I don't know how or what exactly to check

+1 on pilots, or, could be an air leak that developed on your ride leaning you out too.

Ok I'll check pilots but what about spark working than not? I really believe it's an electrical problem but don't know for sure. I haven't changed anything just got new carb boots cause the old were cracked

Cleaned carbs and changed fuel filters runs great again thanx guys
If you haven't done a full r and r on the gas tank and petcocks (or they're new) expect a repeat performance.

Downer, sounds like a combination of things going on with the carbs - test for a leak in the diaphragms on those 76/77 carbs. The tubes do get bunged up in the bowls. And check the jet needle is correct or you might be too rich. Give the plugs a clean, and if you have pods clean them in petrol and order some UNIs, if you have any cash to spare.
