anyone have a diagram for wiring up turn signals?... running a fuse block, power to the handle bar switch. where do I put the FLASHER at? - before or after the switch..

and can I use just 1 flasher?? any type or brands??

also if I am running a fuse block and inline fuses, is a relay necessary anywhere?

THANKS

On a two prong flasher, power goes to one terminal (X) and the other terminal (L) gets the brown/white wire going up to the bar switch. For stock signals with bulbs a #552 flasher works good. If you are using LED signals, they require a flasher made for them. The dark green and dark brown comming out of the bar switch go to your signals positive wires. The signals also have to be grounded. No relays needed.

The wiring goes like this:

battery>
ignition switch>
fuse>
flasher>
turn signal switch>
turn signal bulb sockets and panel indicators>
ground back to battery.

Like grinder says, no relay is needed. Plain old 2 prong flashers are designed to flash rapidly if a bulb is burned out as a warning to the operator. Electronic flashers for LEDs don't do this IIRC.

thanks guys.. here's what I got for a wiring diagram, let me know if you see any problems
