good day guys, so after some searching on here. People say that the shaft seals on mikes are awful. So I went and checked out boats for part number 256-14997-00-00 SEAL and holy hell their shipping is insane (to canada) 32.99 for a tiny gasket.
Anyone know where else I can order these seals that doesn't have a ridiculous shipping rate

Cobra,

You can get them at that Yamaha dealership on Dugald road. Apparently that part number is still in use for the carbs on a Virago. A year back I paid around $17 for a set of four. It took them a week to get them in. Make sure you've got a really good screwdriver before you attempt to take off the throttle plates.

That's the one. The seals made a world of difference to my "wandering" idle. The old seals were hard as wood. Make sure to put them in correctly (open end outward, I believe).
