I did a search and came up with no good results so hopefully I am not bringing up an old topic.

I am working on my hardtail project and seeing as I currently live in MA, I am in need of front and back blinkers. I welded on tabs in the back for the blinker but was looking for a bracket of some sort for front blinkers. I was thinking of attaching them to the lower triple tree mount. I have seen a few people with the same design but was curious if they just made a bracket or bought one somewhere?

Open to other ideas for a clean look on front blinker location too

Here you go.

They're XS650 specific with a bend that straightens out the blinker angle when mounted.

I powder-coated mine black and am pretty happy with the result.

Cheers

if you were looking for turn signals with out the bulk. get out chromeglow.com they have flexible led strips in all shapes and sizes. you could wrap a yellow around each front fork. just a suggestion. i am mounting a 5'' red strip under my back fender for a brake light.

What type/style blinkers are you using? I also need to put blinkers on my hardtail by law, but I'm really not sure what im going to do just yet. I wonder if there are any clamp style mounts that could be used to attach right to the fork tubes...?

Rogue - I have a set of these for the time being, I figured they were cheap so if I don't like them or they don't work out well it is not a huge loss.

Shark - Very interesting idea! Have you done this already or are you waiting to do this to your fender? I would love to see how that looks.

Motion - Spot on as to what I was looking for haha. 10 to 30 days to ship to the states?! Well, if nothing else comes up I guess I have a little wait but a big thanks for the link.

Check out my build thread for a quick vid of my turn signals. I used Bikemaster LED units and fabbed up some brackets out of aluminum.

Damn, I thought I had a link in my sig. Do a quick search of threads started by me and you'll turn it up right quick.

if you want small and bright these are what Im using on my brat. I made my own brackets

Do you have any pictures of these on your bike? I like that they are compact and i think they would be cool to 'hide' on the bike...like mounting them in the handle bars/hand controls. The only problem is my fabrication skills suck so I don't know how well it would work out.

no pix at this time

I'm working on my blinkers right now and I'm not going to pay $75 for those wrap-around blinkers. So I bought about $8 worth of LEDs from one of the many LED venders, some wire and resisters. Wire all the leds together and put them in some plastic tubing from the local Home Depot, put the resister in there for good measure and you're done. Ends up to be about $3 per blinker.

Don't buy the blinking LED's. When you wire a bunch together they all blink at different times. Stupid...
