Gday all, im getting pretty close to doing some 'renewal' work on the motor of my 650..seals, bearing if needed etc. I havnt done much internal work on the 650 but i happen to have 3/4 of a motor with a serverly busted up case so ive stripped it down in preparation for my good motor to see if i was unsure of anything.
Im going to look into having the cases of my 75 'jethotted' jet hot is a company that ceramic coats exhausts & the like, its water based spray thats applied, than baked at 350 C (662 F) which is damn hot...any body have any thoughts on the alloy cases coping with this?
but back to my main question, see pix & can anybody tell me, it seems this shaft that contacts the starter reduction gears cant be removed, is that correct? It doesnt seem to be able to be removed from either end
thanks
