Can I replace my Boyer with a Pamco - without it affecting the timing?

My recently rebuild motor will be shipped out next week, the motor was bench dyno'd with the Boyer.

Thanks,
BigScott

No, if you change the parts in the motor, you will have to time it. Why would you replace the Boyer? It is a first rate, simple ignition. I'll give you a hundred bucks for it. :)

Boyer ignition got destroyed......CRUSHED!!!!!!!!! So, I've been debating on getting the Pamco or another Boyer.

I have a Boyer and like it very much but my next will be a Pamco or Mr. Riggs homebuilt since I have all the parts. Tony C

If you get the Pamco will need to get the advance unit, ans possibly the advance shaft bushings. Do you still have the BB pickup and sensor, or the box? Surely both weren't crushed and you can get parts.
