Mikesxs and some other 650 shops sell an aftermarket EBC rotor that appears to be a lighter replacement for the stocker; however it is only listed as a 1977 and newer fitment. Is there any reason why it wouldn't fit a 1975 spoked wheel? My plan with the cafe project is to use 35mm forks (from an 81, apparently), my spoked front wheel, hopefully this EBC rotor, and a pandemonium kit -- to use the brembo caliper and adapter...

not sure about the fitment but have you considered drilling your stock rotor?

It will fit your '75 wheel and will work with the later 35mm forks. What won't work is that disc on the earlier 34mm forks. The offset is different so it wouldn't align properly with the older style caliper.
