Broke my kick start lever ? Can any year fit

Hello it's been a while but herd I am again well I got a 1971 XS1B 650 aNd my kick starter lever broke man can I use any xs year kick starter cause I found one on eBay for my year bike and it's $120 and every other year is like $10-$30 bucks

which part broke? I am pretty sure any year will fit. Also, most people on this board go to bed real early, lots of older folks here.

dude im sure any year will fit i dodnt know why everything pre 73 costs so damn much money on ebay i have a 72 frame so i new the newer tripple clamps would not fit on my hardtail build. so i bought one off ebay and because it was for a 72 i paid freakin 75.00 for that thing i ended up modifying a newer set. Those 75.00 set of tripple clamps just sit in the box now. im sure it will fit prob just asking so much cuz its an early model.

There are some differences as far as bends and whatnot over the years. This I know is fact. Anything else, you are on your own.
