After reading into the recent oil change thread and having recently got my bike up and running I decided to check my sump filter. To my surprise it looked great. Well when I put it back on I happened to snap one of the six screws. I've never really dealt with this situation before. I assume the best way of going about this is trying to drill it out?

If there is not enough stub left to grab with the needle nose vise-grips, you can get an EZ-Out at any Auto parts store. They can sell You the proper drill to use. I just replaced My bolts with new ones, while I was there.
