bs34 air jet - 85 or 135?

SO, attempting to tune bs34's with pods and open exhaust. I'm looking in the Haynes and it says "85" for the air jet. Mike's says stock is 135....

Can anyone clear this up?

Well, the Clymer manual says #135, except they call it a "Throttle Cutaway". The carb guide says #135.

According to the carb guide, All BS34's 1980 - 1984 came std with 132.5 mj, 5HX12 jet needle, Y-O needle jet, 42.5 pj, 3 - 31/2 turns out mix screw, 135 air jet (air jet is a small round type #135 mj)

Yes but it's the right size.......it's all the other jets and needles that are wrong.......for sure...........

Well what I said earlier is not totally true........the needle jet and mix screw are right....
