BS34 Needle Jet loose

Went to replace my needles and needle jets. The old ones were pretty snug, a light tap and push and out they came. The new ones however, one of them fits soft snug the other is so loose it falls out unless held in by the main jet and washer. Is this gonna be a problem?

i have a set that does that, they fall out if not held by the main jet. i don't see how it could be a problem though. no fuel should get by the main jet and washer once it's tightened.

Sounds like you are missing the O ring or it has shrunk. Yes it could cause problems as fuel can pass around it. I would use the old one if is still good.

I don't think you'll have any problems, as long as the jet is indexed properly on that locating peg. Your needle jet doesn't use an o-ring, that's a BS38 thing.
