hey,

i have the haynes manual for my xs650 but it seems to only have a parts breakdown picture for bs38s not my 34s.

does anyone have a picture of bs34 parts breakdown?

also is the clymers manual the same as the haynes or does it have more info?

cheers

thats the one, Legends!

thanks guys

the reason im asking is that i have a little spring on my workbench left over from when i cleaned out one of my carbys last night.

it looks like it could be number 47 in this diagram: http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/1981/XS650SH/CARBURETOR/parts.html#

it looks like its pointing to the mixture screw???

also that diagram looks like its missing the mixture screw and o ring???

cheers

There is a tiny spring that goes to the choke rod stop, which is 47. There is also a ball bearing in there. That's what is used as a detent to stop the rod in certain positions. Half choke, full choke. The mix screw spring is a little bigger.
This is the complete mix screw set.
