Bs38 Pilot jets

I think i found the correct main jets on Dennis Kirk but are these the correct Pilot jets I need for a BS38? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The carbs are on a 79 Special. I am making the pilots a size or two larger because of pods and exhaust. I am just wondering if these pilots will work for the BS38 since the link doesn't say it specifically. I know what sizes I need I just don't know if these will work.

You have to go by the year the carbs are, not the motor or frame. If they are 78-79 carbs, then no. Those in the link are for pre 76. It says they are bs30/96.

That's why I posted a link to the carb guide. Because, I believe, that had you read it, you would know this already. It tells you everything you need to know. And, there is a chart that tells what style of pilots and mains and needle jets to use for what years.

I found the right jets for my bs38s at the local honda dealership, 2 bucks a piece and no waiting, have you tried local bike shops?

If you can post a pic of your carbs from the filter side we can find out what year the carbs are for sure. A lot of times people will change out carbs from different years so you can't go by the year of bike.

If this is your set then you need VM22/210 pilots and N102/221 mains.
