Started off with a 200 dollar, stretched, raked and hardtailed project

And now I am sitting here, I have an 8 inch over girder front end installed, this 4 inch will be sold, the coffin tank is getting painted tomorrow, as well as wiring for signals and lights. Safety in another few weeks.

Here's were it sits today before things get painted,
Tank will be black with red decals, red valve covers, black cylinder and head, black rims, I need to Chang the front rim, its too wide and not tall enough, undecided if I will keep the drag bars or go with something a little taller. If i go a bit taller, it would be no more then 2 inches,

That bike looks to have all the original wiring removed currently. I would recommend hand wiring it yourself, regardless of electrical skill level you are at. You will learn a lot and be far more comfortable with repairs of this nature in the future. Also, it will cost way less than that TC kit. Even if you had to buy a soldering iron.

"this 4 inch will be sold"

How much are you looking to sell the 4" over for? Stock neck setup? Harley hub?

Curious 'cause I love girder forks...
I'm also just up the road ;-)

I am a transport and forestry mechanic, wiring is no issue for me, I had wired it from battery to switch to points and coils, worked fine, but i believe i dropped a condensor,

Rear rim has been painted as well, the turn outs have been chopped up into slash cuts that look the part (until I can afford pandemonium hot rods)

Picking up rear fender to shape and make work Friday.

Haven't done a lot to the chopper, was actually supposed to be sold, but after 5 no shows and one guy offering 200 bucks for it, I decided it was destiny to keep it.

So here it sits now

Going to ditch the foot clutch, changing out the front rim this weekend after the paint dries. New tires will be installed, going slightly wider in the rear, then I will rig up a rear fender for it. Waiting on my new biltwell throttle to show up and grips.

Have been seriously swapping my $20 cheapie throttle for a biltwell, but its just so much money. You'll have to report back and let me know how it is

I got the biltwell whiskey throttle, single pull. Hoping it works well with a new single to dual cable coupled with kehin flat slides....

Oh ya this winter will be over bore, hi comp pistons and cam, as well as porting.

If you have access to a welder, you can save yourself a hundred bucks and build your own Hod Rod exhaust from their DIY kit. That's what I did (from a TC bros kit) before Pandemonium came out with theirs.

Just need to find me a real Shorty clutch cable now and get the VM34s rebuilt and ready to fire

Got an old lever I threw on to try, if i keep this one I will do some clean up and polish of the lever and repaint the perch.

Anyone build velocity stacks? I have some thin wall mild steel that I can use the appears to be same diameter as i need (haven't mic'd it yet though)

Got the vm34s installed, just waiting on new needles float valves, mains and pilots and slides. What is everyone running for an emulsion tube?
