Got this in a swap with littlebill put it on the resto it's a pretty good fit hinges latch need a bit of adjusting to get it "just right". Not quite what I had in mind for the bike, need to get some stuff out of here. Closest seat to this I saw on fleabay was $258 delivered. $200 to your door or make an offer.........

PM replied. The seat will fit side hinge type frames, it would not be fun adapting it to a rear lift off seat frame ie 80 up specials. If used on a 78-79 special it will fit but not work (look) good with the special side covers.
This seat should probably be thought of as more of a will fit than a perfect solution.
I think it would work really well if cutting, changing the rear frame loop is in your plans.

gggGary...Have you sold the seat? I'm very interested...760-608-1334 Thanks Larry

The Yamaha logo makes it in my book. Secret stash boxes are also always a plus! I need a seat but am in early stages on an 82. I'll holler when I get ready to put it on the road. Say 5 years?:bike::doh:

Yes fits a 76, see first post, wannabe you have first dibs say yeah or nay then sunny. thanks for the interest.
