Can I cut off the coil mount bracket?

The bracket that's welded to the round bar connecting the top motor mount to the front downtubes.............can I cut it off or is it needed later to mount an aftermarket ignition setup?

you can cut anything you want off. yes the coils will mount there or you can mount them anywhere.

If there was any going back before, there's no going back now all the brackets but 1 are completely shaved off and smooth, including the coil mount.
