I've read a lot of posts and still not sure where I need to go. I have a '73 TX650 all original except for K & N Pods and a shorty open muffler. I live at sea level in Southern California. The Bike starts and runs for a while, but pops pretty bad then dies. If you give it any throttle it lags big time and then dies. I know you may need to re-jet after putting the pods and open air muffler on. I have read that I may need to go up one on the main jet and one on the other jets. Where can I find out the stock jet sizes? And does going up one on the jets sound like it will work?

- size is stamped into the jet

Thanks INXS,

I noticed of course after I posted. I'm just gonna buy a few sizes up on the main jet. Not gonna mess with the other jets or needle position until I need to. I can live with a little flat spot for a few weeks, just wont to get the bike on the road.
