Carbs were cleaned and 80%rebuilt

I was afraid to go ahead and replace the throttle linkage seals because of the butterfly valve retaining screws. Anyway ,my bike is up running pretty good, but was having idle issues (high when hot). I sprayed carb cleaner around the linkage of carb while running... the engine bogged a bit.. would this confirm bad seals?

Usually the engine will rev up, but I think any change in the revs when you spray a flammable around the area is a sign that you taking in air some where you should not be. It could be shaft seals, but it could also be intake mounts/gaskets....
