Looks like half of John's quicker throttle mod.
Be careful they break pretty easy.

jayel in John's mod it had two bends to shorten the length. If instead of trying to bend it back to the original length he could step back and bend it a second time bringing it back into the original shape but shorter thus quicker. But then I could be blowing smoke up your arse. Maybe or not.

on the pic where the red line is should be a 90 degrees bent so bent it back to a 90 degrees and it should be ok.

I'm not really sure that quick throttle mod does anything. These are vacuum operated carbs so the slide is not directly connected to the throttle cable. If you want to quicken the slide lift, drill it.

Admittedly I haven't done this. But I think Johns purpose was to shorten the twist on the throttle.

So its bent, well idk what to do i suppose ill try and bend it back to the original position n thanks guys 4 the quick responses

Looks good. Now get in there with cleaner, and don't forget you need a hose clamp for your intake as well, unless you enjoy chasing vacuum leaks. :D
