Hi Guys,

Does anyone have the measurements for the brackets that holds the two carbies together? The upper one. The lower bracket is a small angle piece, which is screwed into the body of the carbs.

I'll need to make these.

The reason i ask is I'm about to assembly two carbs to a new engine which i have built. I also have to make the linkages up that will control both throttles and also make the linkage for both chokes.

Wondering if anyone has done similar?

Regards

Yeah, been there and done that--TM36/68 pumper carbs originally set up for use on singles, had to link throttle shafts, drill and tap carb bodies for brackets, fabricate choke rod, etc. All you should need to know is that center-to-center spacing of the intake spigots needs to be 120 mm. Your best bet is to get hold of a salvage head and mount the carbs to it on the bench while you take your measurements and fabricate your bits.

Hi Mate,

Thanks for that 120mm.

Yeah your correct i need to make up the bits while the motor is out of the frame.

Thanks
