Looking for advice on a drive chain tensioner. The roller type looks like there might be, or could be some issues with the chain slipping off the roller. What do you folks consider to be the best? A sprocket type or roller type tensioner? Or does it matter?

Thx...

I don't believe in matters much. It's whatever you prefer. I'm not much into skateboarding anymore. Lol. Getting old I guess. I went with a 530 weld on sprocket tensioner.
Probably never go out of style.
When it's tensioned properly and if everything is aligned right, I would'nt think it should slip off the wheel unless something is off.

With a sprocket, installation needs to be dead on. A wheel you have more room for a soppy install. I would assume anyways never used a sprocket tensioner.
