I have a 77 D and i switched to a Mikes XScharge last year. Bike has been having trouble lately with losing power after riding a bit from killing the battery. Have checked all the connections and the output from the pma seems to be ok, so most likely the reg/rect is just being overworked. Been seeing that i should change to a Mosfet reg/rect to help with the excess voltage and heat, but have no idea what model number i need. Any help with that info would be appreciated.

HI
I did a quick googling and found some info here also
http://www.xs650.com/threads/battery-is-being-overcharged.49087/

If the one year old equipment is not working one idea could be to talk to the seller
Are you not in the same town ..that perhaps does not help .
But usually a company and seller has heard of the problem and has a solution .. at times even replaces
the Thing -- especially if it is a known problem.
S*it happens ..and sometimes cooperation can be established.
Customer satisfaction is dependent on that the seller gets the Information.
Gets the possibility to do it right.
He can himself have received a faulty shipment.
And if it is a Tech Question he can get the answer from the manufacturer.
