Randomtone - Glad to see you got the rear wheel figured out! I just picked up a set of headers, and I'd like to have a pair of Cone Eng. mufflers like yours. How do you like them?>

Fred - the bike will have fenders eventually, I just haven't decided how I'm going to do the rear yet. Minnesota isn't exactly a precipitation free place..


I'm fitting a 70-something DT tank. I have to relocate the coils, move the tank frame tabs down about an inch to level out the tank, and fab a rear mount.

I like the cones a lot, they sound real nice. The guy I had weild them on has a lot of experience with Cone engineering and he said I wouldn't like the quieter core so I went with the other ones but with smaller outlets.
