cheap-ish cam chain rivet tool

Posted this on my build thread but thought It may be worthwhile putting it in the tool section. I didn't have the proper tool for squishing the master link pins on my new cam chain so I swung by princess auto and grabbed their large nut splitter tool. I used a cut off wheel to remove one side of the splitter frame so it would fit over the chain. I placed the master link onto the chain along with the new plate. I used a needle nose vise grip to hold the plate in place while I used the nut splitter to squish the end of the pin, then switched to the other side, worked real slick.
