These float bowls and slide/diaphragm covers are from a set of 1978-79 2F0-00 carburetors. The chrome on the float bowls is very good. The chrome on the covers is slightly pitted. There is no text on the covers, suggesting they are either aftermarket or were shaved before being chromed.
I was able to remove and check the pilot jets (size 27.5) but couldn't get the main jets out. They should be 135's according to the XS650 Australian tech chart: http://www.xs650.org.au/Technical Info/XS-TX650 Carburetor Evolution.htm . If you will want different size main jets, plan on drilling and using an easy-out to get these out.
These will look great on your café, chopper or bobber. I think they're worth $40 plus shipping but feel free to make an offer - cash or trade for a Pandemonium Brembo brake adapter set-up for 35mm forks.
