Cleaning up Engine Block

@BlackRabbit18, if you're still hoping to clean that thing, try kerosene. I recently brought an XS650 home that had yellow gunk on the cylinder head and elsewhere. I used a spray bottle to give it a good coat. Upon washing, it looks very good. IMHO, it's cheap and worth a try.

I was able to get into the fins and really clean them well by buying a cheap set of bottle brushes at HF, cutting them off and putting them in a drill. I didn’t go crazy with the drill but it got all the crap out.
