Hey everyone I'm in the early stages of an XS chopper build. One of the looks I'm trying to achieve is a super clean set of handlebars with no cables, wires, or switches visible. Rather than trying an internal clutch cable that uses a twist grip I'm interested in the upgrade to a hydraulic clutch. I've seen a few styles on here poking around but the internal German style setup is the way I'm leaning. I'd rather keep the left side looking as clean as possible.
Who's currently running the German unit or who's made/purchased a similar setup and has some longevity testing at this point? I read through much of MRRiggs postings already.
And for those of you running one of these....has anyone found a nice, appropriate sized, chrome control setup for it? I know you can buy the complete setup but it doesn't appear to be available in chrome. Plus I want to make my own line that I can run inside the handlebars hopefully.
