Hi guys. Rebuilding motor on me 81 xsH and I saw thatthere was a good bit of play in the con rods... is this normal? Thanks guys, safe riding

Some side play on wrist-pin and piston and con rod small end is normal. There should be zero up and down play - either end. There is a spec for side-play @ the big end. Sorry, can't tell from video

Can’t tell if your rods are actually moving, or just your piston slipping side to side.
If that’s your rod moving, ehhh probably the worst set of rods I’ve ever seen.
There is a spec for rod deflection. And piston play.
