Tore the engine down. I have the crank sitting on the bench and I'm seeing that the copper has worn off the connecting rods. As I understand, that is an indication that the connecting rods need to be replaced.

How do I take them off? Obviously I need to dismantle the crank from each end but does it require a press or can I do it by hand?

Thanks.
