I've always regarded coupons to be a waste of time. Online coupons seem to be the worst; dead-ends in my experience.
Some of my girlfriends have regarded me to be stupid because of this attitude, but I just can't be bothered for this nickel and dime savings system.
However, today my dermatologist gave me a script for Fluorouracil (try to say that 5 times fast) cream which cost, after insurance coverage, about $150.00.
Like all my new meds, I looked it up online to study its nature and effectiveness, and I stumbled on a coupon on WebMDRx which supposedly could be cashed in at my pharmacy, Wegmans Food Market Pharmacy (located all over the northeast and down to N. Carolina). So, what the heck, I called my local pharm and asked about it. A few minutes later I got a text message from them which changed my medication cost from about $150.00 to $49.55 !
In fact, I found coupons for other meds I have which drastically reduces their cost.
Now, I'm a believer! Isn't that a Monkees song?
