Custom length speedo cable?

Is there a company out there that builds custom length speedo cables?


I am getting ready to install a mini speedo on my XS but I want a cable about 5 inches shorter than the one thats on it now. Mikes lists several different cables but doesnt give the lengths. Its on a 81 Special that now run MX bars if that matters.

Ouch. $55 plus shipping. .

What I need is a speedo cable around 36". The one that was in the box of parts with my 81 Special is nearly 48" . Anyone know offhand what the length of the cable is for a standard? Everyone lists multiple cables but no one gives the length.

Furious I don't think there is any difference between standard and special length.
But this post will get you back to the top.
