Hey guys,
I recently mounted my starter solenoid, reserve lighting and safety relay into a metal box mounted under my swing arm along with all my fuses. Once I did this, everytime I turned the ignition on, it blows the fuse.
Does the starter solenoid need to be rubber mounted, or the whole box in general maybe?

Since you have moved all the wiring, you now have a short circuit. Just do some detective work, looking carefully at every wire. Do you have grommits at every point where wires exit th enclosure? A VOM (use the low ohm scale) and a wiring diagram are the tools to use to find the short.

Sounds like you just have a wire that is contacting the metal box. My components don't have rubber grommets.

I had a similar problem and it ended up being a bad ign switch. I was running one of those universal car ones and every time I went to crank it over blew a fuse. Are u running a on off one or a aftermarket car type ignition?
