You can pick a similar light up on Speedway's site for about $40 with a chrome bezel, black body and LED, with or without plate light. Keep in mind, this style of light has holes in the bucket at both top and bottom, so you may need to fill the hole on top.
and pulled the single element bulb and socket guts out, replacing it with a dual element socket guts and mini bulb. Now it works as a tail/stop. Next I will strip the paint off and either copper plate it or spray the bare metal with Bronze anodizing-look paint. DOing the same plating/painting to the headlight bucket and a few engine parts.
I'm just now seeing this thread. TWM I'd love to see how you mounted your LED setup. I'm a bit new at fabrication, but I learn quick. I put on a couple dual headlights and I'd love those LEDs on my ride.
