Cylinder head Interchangeability????s.

What issues would arise mounting an XS1B head on a 447 engine aside from the camshaft and crank sprocket incompatibility? Cam chain tunnel?

Off the top of my head I can't think of any reason why you couldn't. Yeah, the cam sprocket's different, but that on the cam, not the head.

Thanks Jim. It seems straight forward enough. I just seem to recall seeing something about the later engines having a wider cam chain tunnel but maybe that was the cylinder, not the head

Yeah, the tunnel in the cylinders is different. Not sure if it's wider, but it is different
