Decals from different bikes?

I Love some of the older dirtbike tank decals, anyone put different years models decals on other bikes? Do they look ok on the different danks etc? I just love how bright and cool some were.

I put a CB450 Super Sport stripe on my CB500 tank. It looks similar to what came on the CB750's of the ear. I think I had to trim a small amount from the big end of the decal, but it looks great.

Those decals are a little expensive to experiment with. Have you considered a local vinyl shop that can mock stuff up for you to try? Sometimes, they can take a pic and expand/shrink it and make decals from it.

I agree they are pricy but they just have a great old look on some of these. I will look into getting some made. No pics of other s trying/ doing the same thing?
