As a temp fix, until I get my kit from MikeXS, I am using a rubber freeze plug to block the start hole...

Rubber should be oil/gas/heat resistant, since that would likely be the conditions that it would come in contact with if used as a freeze plug.

(would use the right freeze plug, but for some reason they don't stock them here in sunny California... where it never freezes.)

I am heading there today, to get the right one, I tried looking them up over the weekend and it said they were not available.

They sell the best hand scrubber, mostly unscented to make the wife happy.

That orange crap she won't get within 10 feet of me, clean or not.
