I see a set of carbs on kijjiji , bs 34s from a xs400 . Anyone know if they could work on a 650 ? Thanks .

just a guess here but i would think they would work albeit you would need to check all the jets and the linkage may be different. i mean a bs34 is a bs34 right?

The add says they are off an 84 400 maxim , I see that the linkage would need to be changed , looks like the throttle cable is in the right place and they may ( not sure ) bolt on to the connectors ( those angle iron things that hold the carbs together ) from a set of bs 38s .
They look like new in the picture and the guy is asking $ 100 bucks for the pair . Think they are worth it ?

i think you could post an add on our classifieds and find a set for the same price. then you at least know the jetting is close and the linkage is correct.
Center to center spacing of the intake might be a consideration?
