Hi all, I want to have my swing arm extended and keep a standard extra one if I dont like it. Are the drum and disc brake swing arms the same?

Note that the different brake torque arm tabs are the only thing that stops the two swingarms from being identical.
What we did to put an 18" wire wheel on a 1980 Special was to fabricate a copy of the lower tab and weld it on too so the swingarm is now dual purpose.
