Hey everyone,
Has anyone ordered the 4" electronic tachometer from Mikes? I bought the pair (speedo+tach) and the tach 'died' after the first try of it. I had installed the tach, wired it up to my coil and started the bike - it was reading great, I shut the bike off and tried it again a bit later and it never worked again after that first go.
I emailed Mikes customer service who were very nice and said that this had been a reported problem, refunded me for the tach and apparently pulled the electronic tach off their site until they can figure out a solution with the provider I suppose.
However, now I'm stuck with a dead tachometer and its matching speedo I still paid for... Anyone have this issue and bring theirs back to life? I'm a bit annoyed now that I have to find another matching set of speedo/tach, so I'd like to see if I can get this one working again.
