Sounds about right, I added up a hair under a grand easy with all he has there. Not everyone is happy with a can of krylon and a wire brush

I prefer alloy or chrome rims myself.
A respoke with stainless only costs me £70.
Tyres about £60 each
Anyone can take the cheap & easy way out by painting a manky old pair of wheels.
