I dont get it, Its making me manualy resize these from 1.5mb down to 19kb. I fn hate computers. I give up.

Cool post. I'm anxious to see the final build and see how that rake looks. Like Nick says, I'm also curious what the rake angle worked out to be and how it handles fast and slow.

I gave up on the pics for today. Guess I don't get how to resize them without them being to small to see. For some reason it automatically resized the other pics.
The rake is 35 degree. Not huge but just what I was going for.It handles great, much better than I expected. When I was building it I told everyone that I wouldn't ride it on the highway,I sure was wrong it runs 70-75 nice and smooth. Steering is very comfortable at any speed. Only problem I have had with the bike is the vibes keep breaking the tail light mount.

Yeah, I keep thinking about doing a 35 degree rake on the Rocket Dog. Thanks for the post and if you do get a chance to put up some finished pics, that'd be great.

How's it look off the stand? I just finished my rake and I'm just hoping it's not too low with the factory forks. Looks sweet!!!

Hey Bill, Bike looks fantastic  Would you mind if I used your bike in advertising my "curved drags" on my website?

Also, did you just cut a 1 inch section out and then bend it back and weld? looks real good raked

Yea I think it was about a inch we cut out. The bottom tubes we cut 90% through and took a wedge out. We put a solid slug in the top tube and welded it up. I bet it didn't take us 2 hours or 6 beers to do. Don't understand your first question.

That would be my honor if you did. I think your pipes make the whole bike. Everywhere I go people go nuts over the pipes. Thanks GS.

Looks great bud, your exhaust is pretty much the same as what I have been drawing out for my build.

Give Gordon Scott a call. These are his pipes and he has a few other sweet styles at about a 10th of what the Harley guys pay for pipes.
