If I buy an emgo or a commando or any other "universal" muffler, what will I need to do for a center stand stop? Do they have brackets on them? The stop from mikes looks weird. Maybe I just don't understand. Pictures of how people mount their exhausts would be awesome.

i'm having the same problems--i have an xs1b with stock headers that i'm trying to mount the 'brit style' mufflers from mikes on. the left muffler seems super close to my chain and sprocket, and not sure how to go about keeping the centerstand from clanging into it. the passenger peg/pipe mount is different on these earlier bikes from what most people seem to have...

Putting aftermarket mufflers on an early bike can be fun, any year really getting the left side in snug is a challenge. Mikes does sell the OEM replacement style about $320 the pair this year. I have a pair of his and they look very nice great chrome, I have not yet mounted them but have never heard of it being a problem.
