Float valves

Anyone know if there's differences on size of float valves. I have bs38 and right now the float valves have 2.5 marked on them bought some new ones from 650 central marked 2 haven't tried to put them on yet but was wondering if it's marked cause the thread or the size of the inlet that lets gas through and would this make a difference on how fast fuel would pour in making my carbs slower to fill thanx

The difference is in the size of the orifice in the seat. The #2 seats will work fine.
