Out of respect to all forum members, I am posting my official intro.

My name is Mick and I live in C-Bus Ohio. Been riding for years and wrenching almost as long.

Currently own 4 scoots, 79' XS650 (Aquired b/c repairs were to exceed cust's perceived value of bike), 95' HD Sprotster, 02' Big Dog Prosport & 06' HD Roadglide.

Currently working on a 76' XS that appears to have been stored outside for the last 20 years.

It is great to have a forum such as this to be able to utilize as a resource. Even though most of my experience is in the American V-Twin side of things, I hope to be able to offer back to the forum.

Hi Mick,

I just did a 200 mile twisty backroad ride with my old XS650 last Sunday. A true rat bike, I picked it up for $100 (when that was the going price!). She sat out side for the estimated twenty years also and still looks the part! {8^)

You should join the VinMoto email list. Google VinMoto and click on the US map in the Columbus spot. There should be enough info to get you up to speed. I count 4 XS650's that are active (I think there are more), two were on the ride and 3 showed up at Woodlands on 3rd for the "On Any Monday" get together.
