Fuel Foaming out of fuel breather tubes???

Hey All,

I am having fuel foaming out of the fuel breather tubes on my 79 and was wondering if any one had some tips to fix this?? Here is a pic

that's the crankcase breather
1. needs a longer hose to go under bike
2. looks like water in your oil
3. check oil level may be over full

If you do a Google search with the terms XS650 and breather, you will find tons of good information, such as routing the blow-by into your air filters, and using a one way valve on the breather tubes to improve engine operation.

water. dont run it without draining it. must have been caught in a down pour? wee-ones helping daddy?
might want to rig up some sort of rain water sheild so you dont have this happen again.
