Gas tank mounts

Anyone have any suggestions on what I could use in place of the stock rubber tank mounts. Apparently I've lost one of them and am heading out on a trip later this week. I don't know if I ordered one if it would be here in time. Looking for something I could get at a local hardware store that someone may have found to work out ok.

Any hardware store will have chair tips. Cut one down for the O.D., then get a smaller size, cut a piece of the sleeve off and nest it in the first one for the I.D.

for anyone that ever runs into this issue, what i did was go buy a solid black rubber plug the same OD as the oem rubber mount, cut it down to height and drill a 7/8" hole through the center...works as good as oem.
